I’m a girl, you can call me Ezekiel. I was born 27 years ago [11th April, 1981] and raised in Idaho, USA. I have two older sisters one of whom [BlankGirl] is now one of my best friends on this earth. I met a wonderful English girl [Weasel] on the internet in 1998. We spent a lot of time talking, bonding and generally falling in love and I moved to the East Anglia region of England September 5th, 1999. I love the UK and I can’t ever imagine wanting to go back to the US. I have duel citizenship as of May 2004.

I am polyamorous - although I like to think of it as parallel monogamy. So in addition to Weasel I have a boyfriend we call Horatio. He and I have been together since September 2002. We met online via a shared interest in anime/manga.

I worked for a website as a technical support assistant from 2000-2007. I did development, research, statistics, mailing list maintenance, customer support and everything in between. I really loved my job. I stopped working when I was diagnosed with Wegener’s Granulomatosis [WG] in October 2007. Sadly, in May 2008 I got an e-mail from my boss saying the company was going into liquidation. So if I am ever well enough to work again I’ll be looking for a new job.

In 2006, I decided I wanted to go back to school to study counselling. Unfortunately, the WG also stopped that for me. I’m not sure if I want to keep studying or not. I’ve thought about working for a baker or as a dog walker. It all depends on my health. My future is scary and blank at the moment.

I first got online in October 1995. I was on AOL [which was the style at the time]. In 1996, I started a website on Anglefire. I’ve had a presence of some sort ever since then. I have journal archives from December 1998. Before the journal I had a variety of pages about my interests and as I fancied myself as a writer some essays and stories etc. I was young and learning. I really enjoy where I am now with the whole thing.

The domain is registered through WiserDomains and my host is WiserHosting I love them so very much.

I use WordPress to manage my content - you should too. I also use the following plugins to make things extra sweet.

• OneClick love love love this. In one click I can install new plugins and themes to WordPress. It makes life much easier.
• Akismet to stop spam - you’ll need a key from WordPress.com but it is worth getting.
• Bad Behaviour to stop spam too.
• CommentLuv when you comment it looks up your most recent post and links to it.
• FeedBurner makes my RSS pages look pretty and makes it easier to select how you want to eat my content.
• Random Quote this is wonderful too, it has an excellent interface for managing the quotes and it’s look is completely customisable.
• SRG Clean Archives is genius. It has made my archive page much cleaner [ha] and it has several useful features so you can control how the list appears.
• Limit Posts Automatically is what I use to keep the posts collapsed on the front page and on search result pages. It is great, instead of having to put in all the time, I can just select to show the first paragraph, first sentence or whatever I want.
• Get Firefox Banner tells people using IE 6 and 7 to please upgrade. It can be closed so I approve of it.
• Sitemap Generator for people to look at and enjoy.
• Sitemap Generator for search engines to look at and enjoy.
• Simple Tags creates Technorati tags.
• Typogrify tidies up your text and put in proper quote marks. Plus some other things, very nice.
